Buchner Funnel

Buchner funnel in a strong, durable material that does not break easily, resists chemical corrosion and withstands high heat. Used for vacuum filtration of mixtures with a liquid component; commonly used with crystalline precipitates and not suited to fine or gelatinous precipitates, because suction from the pump clogs the filter paper and prevents liquid from passing through it into the holes of the funnel.
