The HI38015-100 are high quality reagents that are pre-made, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate chloride measurements with the HI38015 chemical test kit. These reagents follow the silver nitrate titration method to determine chloride concentration. For determination of chloride, three reagents are used HI38015A-0, HI38015B-0, and HI38015C-0. Using the demineralizer bottle to first prepare the water, a 25 mL sample can then be easily titrated by adding the HI38015A-0 reagent and then using the silver nitrate solution and the potassium chromate indicator. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected chloride range of 500 to 10000 mg/L (ppm) and 5000 to 100000 mg/L (ppm).
