Product description
The HI784-25 are high-quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Marine Ammonia Checker® HC. These reagents follow the colorimetric salicylate method . The reaction between ammonia, ammonium, and the reagent causes a blue-green tint in the sample. By adding the HI784A-0 Reagent A, HI784B-0, and HI784C-0 to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI784 will determine the concentration from the color that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm of Ammonia. These reagents are designed to be used with saltwater samples that have an expected range of 0.00 to 2.50 ppm.
