LAUDA DR. R. WOBSER is a German manufacturer of precise temperature-control equipment, based in Lauda-Königshofen and founded in 1956 by Dr. Rudolf Wobser, who had developed the first universal thermostat, the U 8, in 1949. In laboratories the brand is best known for its heating and cooling thermostats, circulation chillers, immersion thermostats and thermostatic water baths.
