Factory QA benches checking incoming ingredients and finished product: moisture, pH, water activity, and microbial counts. Most orders here repeat against a fixed test method rather than changing month to month.

Municipal, industrial and environmental water work — COD, BOD, turbidity, residual chlorine and heavy metals. Test kits and reagents carry the routine; meters and photometers are the occasional capital line.

Hospital and medical laboratories — specimen handling, centrifugation, refrigerated storage, and the disposables consumed every shift. Delivery reliability tends to outrank unit price here.

Plate counts, sterility work and culture preparation. The equipment lines are autoclaves, incubators and safety cabinets; the recurring spend is media, loops, plates and pipette tips.

Quality control on and beside the production line — hardness, dimension, moisture, thickness and coating checks, usually to a customer or standards-body specification.

GMP manufacturing and QC, where the paperwork travels with the product: calibration records, certificates and traceable reference materials alongside cleanroom-compatible consumables.

School, vocational and university teaching labs. Durable basics bought in class sets, usually against a term budget or a tender, and often as a whole room at once rather than item by item.

Soil, feed, fertiliser and crop laboratories — sample preparation, drying, moisture, pH and nutrient analysis. Workloads are seasonal, so stock timing matters more than usual.

Licensed cannabis and herbal extract testing — potency, moisture, and residual solvent workflows, plus the extraction and sample-prep equipment that feeds them.
