Long Battery Life
The included CR2032 Li-ion battery provides up to 1000 hours of continuous use. The battery icon will blink to let you know it is time to change the battery so you never miss a measurement.
Your measurements require detailed attention; so should your electrode. The HI981033 Wine pH Tester features a built-in probe that has been carefully designed to measure the pH in juice, mash, and wine.
CPS™ Sleeve Junction
Clogging Prevention System (CPS) technology was designed for pH measurements in samples that have a high solids content. When the electrode become dirty, the PTFE sleeve can be moved to clean the ground glass surface, rejuvenating the junction for a 20x longer electrode lifespan.
Spherical Glass Tip
The spherical shaped tip design allows for a wider area of contact with the sample for a faster measurement.
Glass Body
A glass body is easy to clean, is chemically resistant, and quick to reach thermal equilibrium for a faster, more stable measurement.

Cleaning Solution for Wine Deposits and Stains
Your Wine pH Tester comes with cleaning solution that has been engineered to keep our electrode free from wine juice stains and must deposits. This concentrated combination of detergents cleans your meter quickly and effectively so that your meter stays in optimum condition.
pH 3 & 7 Buffer Sachets
When performing a pH calibration it is important that the correct buffers are used. We include some start buffers to get you going. The single-use sachets are individually sealed so you use fresh buffer each time you calibrate.
Storage Solution
Proper storage of your electrode will ensure reliable measurements and a long electrode life. Our storage solution is specially formulated to keep the pH glass hydrated while minimizing organic growth.
