State what you measure (pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, a photometric parameter), the sample and the range. Electrodes are chosen for the sample and must fit the meter connector, so name the meter you own if you are replacing a probe rather than buying a set.

Photometer reagent codes end in a pack size: -01 is the 100-test pack and -03 the 300-test pack of the same reagent. Say how many tests you run a month and the quotation can pair the pack size to the shelf life, so reagents do not expire on the shelf.

Buffers and standards carry a lot number and an expiry date; some methods require a certificate of analysis. Say which documents your quality system needs so they arrive with the goods.
They are the same reagent in different pack sizes: -01 is the 100-test pack and -03 the 300-test pack. Choose by your monthly test count and the reagent shelf life, so an opened pack is used before it expires.
The photometer is calibrated against the manufacturer's own reagent chemistry, so use the reagent code the meter's manual names for that parameter. Substituting another chemistry changes the reading in ways the meter cannot know about.
